Regional Menu

Specialities and traditional dishes

Costal influence is also reflected in the "ampurdanesa" cuisine, whose typical dishes include sea urchins, baked snails and chicken and lobster stew. During the summer, dishes can be sampled on the beach alongside the restaurant.

Restaurant with their own name: Mar i Vent

The Parador has its own restaurant, ‘Mar i Vent’ which is separate from the hotel located in the neighbouring cove overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

The restaurant is characterized by its traditional cuisine, with dishes and ingredients which are representative of Bajo Ampurdán (Fideuà, Mar i Montanya, Suquet de Peix, etc.) The dishes are designed to be simple, embracing the flavors and freshness of the raw ingredients. Its cooking is outstanding, demonstrating knowledge of how to combine a whole range of ingredients, both skilfully and imaginatively, no matter how surprising the combination may seem.
