Paradores Atlas User Agreement

These Terms and Conditions and Terms of Use (the “Agreement”) govern your use of paradoresofspain.com (the “Website”), operated by Portugal Online Corp under the Paradores Atlas brand. By using the Website, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. About Paradores Atlas

Paradores Atlas is an independent travel information website focused on Spain’s Paradores. We provide editorial information, destination guidance, property information, maps, geographic discovery tools, and links to third-party travel and booking services.

Paradores Atlas is not the official Paradores website and is not operated by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Paradores de Turismo de España or the Spanish government. References to individual Paradores and related names are used for identification and travel-information purposes.

2. Affiliate and Third-Party Booking Links

Some links on the Website are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying transaction, Portugal Online Corp may receive a commission or other compensation from the third-party provider, at no additional charge to you.

Unless the Website expressly states otherwise, Paradores Atlas is not the hotel, accommodation provider, payment processor, or merchant of record for reservations completed on a third-party website. Your booking contract is with the third-party provider identified during the booking process, and that provider’s terms, cancellation rules, payment requirements, privacy policy, and other conditions apply.

3. Prices, Availability, Maps, and Property Information

We work to keep property descriptions, locations, maps, images, availability information, and other travel content accurate and useful. However, Paradores and third-party providers may change prices, availability, facilities, policies, operating status, names, classifications, images, locations, booking conditions, or other information without notice.

Maps and geographic information on the Website are provided for trip discovery and general orientation. They should not be relied upon as a substitute for official directions, current road information, safety guidance, or information supplied by the property or booking provider.

Any price, availability, rating, description, map, or other third-party information shown or linked from the Website should be confirmed on the provider’s website before you make a purchase or travel decision. The price and conditions displayed by the provider at the time of booking control the transaction.

4. No Guarantee of Booking or Travel Services

A link from Paradores Atlas does not guarantee that a property, room, rate, service, or travel product will be available. We are not responsible for a third party’s refusal or inability to accept a booking, changes to a reservation, overbooking, cancellations, schedule changes, supplier failures, map or location errors, or other acts or omissions of a travel provider.

5. Editorial Independence

The Website may contain editorial descriptions, recommendations, historical information, regional guides, route suggestions, maps, nearby-property recommendations, and other travel content prepared independently by Paradores Atlas. Affiliate relationships do not transfer responsibility for our editorial content to the linked provider, and the presence of a link does not mean that a third party has reviewed or approved our content.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for reviewing all booking details before completing a transaction, including property identity, location, dates, room type, occupancy, price, taxes and fees, cancellation terms, payment terms, documentation requirements, accessibility needs, and any other conditions important to your trip.

You agree not to misuse the Website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, scrape or reproduce substantial portions of the Website in violation of applicable law, introduce malicious code, or use the Website for unlawful purposes.

7. Intellectual Property

Except for third-party materials, trademarks, property names, photographs, maps, or other content used under license or other lawful basis, the Website and its original text, design, organization, graphics, software, maps, and other content are owned by or licensed to Portugal Online Corp and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the Website for personal, non-commercial travel research. No other reproduction, republication, redistribution, or commercial exploitation is permitted without prior written authorization except as allowed by law.

8. Third-Party Websites

The Website contains links to websites and services operated by third parties, including Booking.com where applicable. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, security, availability, privacy practices, products, services, maps, booking interfaces, or contractual performance. Your use of a third-party website is at your own discretion and subject to its terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current, secure, or suitable for every travel purpose.

Nothing on the Website constitutes legal, financial, medical, immigration, safety, or other professional advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Portugal Online Corp and Paradores Atlas will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website or from a transaction, service, act, omission, map, route, recommendation, or failure of a third-party travel provider.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Privacy and Cookies

Your use of the Website is also subject to our Privacy Policy and, where available, our Cookie Policy and consent controls. Cookie preferences can be reviewed or changed using the consent controls provided on the Website.

12. Changes to the Website or This Agreement

We may modify the Website, its content, or this Agreement from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with the date of the latest update. Changes apply prospectively from the date they are posted, subject to applicable law.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence apply and cannot lawfully be waived.
