Parador de Gijon

A former mill in Isabel la Católica Park

Nestled on the shores of the Cantabrian Sea, where the rugged coastline meets the vibrant city of Gijón, the Parador de Gijón stands as a beacon of refined elegance and coastal charm. Housed within a magnificent 18th-century mill, this captivating retreat effortlessly combines history, culture, and modern comforts.

Stepping into the Parador de Gijón, you are greeted by a seamless blend of old-world grandeur and contemporary design. The restored mill retains its original architectural features, with exposed stone walls and rustic wooden beams, creating a unique ambiance that transports you to a bygone era. Each thoughtfully designed guest room offers a sanctuary of serenity, boasting panoramic views of the sea or the lush surrounding gardens.

Regional Menu

Do not leave the Parador without tasting a good fabada. It is its main dish. I also recommend you to taste the Crab cream, hake prepared with hard cider, Asturian-style beef sirloin with a cabrales blue cheese sauce, and a selection of cheeses from Austurias.
